Our Food Systems are in trouble will you help? If not you, then who?

Here's the challenge: We need to feed a growing population – an estimated 10 billion people by 2050. Yet, our current food systems face immense challenges:

  • Sustainability: Animal feed lots to plant diseases farming practices can contribute to climate change and environmental degradation.  Further processing facilities and distribution networks also have many sustainability issues.
  • Nutrition: Access to healthy food is uneven, leading to hunger and diet-related diseases.
  • Inequity: Many food workers struggle for fair compensation, while food waste remains a significant issue.
  • Food Safety: Foodborne diseases cause an estimated 420,000 deaths annually worldwide.  Waterborne diseases cause an estimated 1.2 million deaths annually worldwide.

The future of food depends on YOU!
